Adelaide Hills National Parks - Spectacular scenery, heritage walks, wildlife and bushwalking - all at your doorstep when you stay at Bickham Grange Estate.

  • Morialta Conservation Park is well known for its impressive waterfalls, deep gorges and lush, wooded hillsides. Popular with bushwalkers of all abilities, the park offers breathtaking views across the hills to the city.
  • Mt Lofty Summit, 710 metres above sea level, provides spectacular views of the Adelaide plains, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island. The summit complex includes visitor information centre, local arts and crafts, and restaurant/cafe.
  • The Adelaide Hills wine region has 33 cellar doors nestled among the vineyards, apple and pear orchards and market gardens. Linger over lunch at historic Hahndorf or Woodside or enjoy a platter of regional cheeses at one of the many restaurants or pubs scattered throughout the region.
  • The National Motor Museum at Birdwood houses Australia’s most important collection of vintage, veteran and classic motor vehicles. As an international centre for the preservation of the Australian road transport industry, the museum is a social history of the way we were.
  • The River Torrens Linear Trail provides an ideal choice for those looking for a leisurely walk, run or cycle. Passing the door of Bickham Grange, the trail runs from Paradise in the city’s north-east following the river right through the centre of Adelaide to the beachside suburb of Henley Beach. Featuring level, bitumen paths, the River Torrens Linear Trail is ideal for all fitness levels.
Take a picnic lunch or stop to feed the ducks, the Linear Park provides a valuable habitat for many bird species, and you may even spot a koala.
